Metro is a metronome app built by Ultralight Software. We believe in privacy-first software design. This policy explains what data we collect (spoiler: almost nothing) and how we handle it.

Data We Collect

The short answer: We don't collect personal data.

Metro is designed to work entirely offline. Your tempo settings, presets, and preferences are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

No Analytics or Tracking

We do not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, or data collection tools. We don't track how you use the app, which features you use most, or any usage patterns. Your practice sessions are your own.

No Third-Party Services

Metro does not integrate with any third-party services that could collect your data. There are no social logins, no cloud sync services, and no advertising networks.

App Store Data

When you purchase Metro Pro through the App Store, Apple processes your payment. We do not receive any personal information from this transaction—only an anonymous confirmation that a purchase was made. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle App Store purchases.

Data Storage

All app data (your presets, settings, and preferences) is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. This data is included in your device backups if you have iCloud Backup enabled, subject to Apple's privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

Metro does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify users through the app. Any changes will maintain our commitment to not collecting personal data.
